How to Use It

Rule #1. Let TakeOFF™ do the work!

Step 1. Unfold the wipe, or spray and apply the TakeOFF solution to the problem area.

Step 2. Wait for two to three minutes.

Step 3. Gently rub the area with a soft cloth or a TakeOFF™ wipe.

Step 4. Repeat steps if necessary. TakeOFF™ will dissolve adhesives and will leave no residue.

Use the TakeOFF™ Towelette or Drip Cap for Spot Cleaning Areas.

• Remove initial label or duct tape, glob of gum, tar, or wax if possible.
• Open packet.
• Unfold entire wipe.
• Apply wipe directly to surface (allow for saturation, up to 2 to 3 minutes).
• Rub area with wipe until residue is removed.

• Remove initial label or duct tape, glob of gum, tar, or wax if possible.
• Spray directly to surface. Work approx. 3"x3" areas at a time. (allow for saturation, up to 2 to 3 minutes).
• Rub area with TakeOFF™ Towelette until residue is removed.

To maintain the quality and integrity of certain materials, please adhere to the following restrictions when using TakeOFF Adhesive Remover:

• Unfinished Wood: Avoid using on unfinished wood as the solvent can penetrate, causing staining or warping of the natural wood fibers.
• Drywall/Sheetrock: Do not apply on drywall or sheetrock. The remover can dissolve the binding agents in these materials, leading to damage.
• Unsealed Stone: Unsealed stone surfaces can absorb the remover, potentially causing discoloration and degradation of the stone.
• Silk: Silk’s delicate nature can be compromised by the chemicals in the adhesive remover, leading to color loss or fabric weakening.
• Leather: Leather can be easily damaged by the harsh ingredients, resulting in dryness, cracking, or irreversible stains.
• Suede: The sensitive texture of suede may be disrupted by adhesive remover, causing matting or discoloration.
• Fabrics: General use on fabrics is discouraged as it can cause color fading, staining, or other damage, depending on the fabric composition.
• Latex: Latex materials can degrade when exposed to the components of the adhesive remover, leading to weakening or breakage of the material.

Safety Note on Handling:

• Avoid Latex Gloves: Do not wear latex gloves when handling this product to prevent material degradation. Opt for gloves made from nitrile or other resistant materials.
• Hand Washing: Always wash your hands immediately after use. If you experience any irritation, thorough cleaning is crucial to prevent skin damage.
